The Board recognizes its obligation to respect the legal rights of all students, parents, employees, applicants for admission or employment, sources of referral of applicants for admission and employment, and all unions or professional organizations holding collective bargaining or professional agreements with the school district. The Board will seek to comply with all applicable federal and state non-discrimination laws. The Board will not unlawfully discriminate against any person or group on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, place of birth, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
