Shaw’s Receipts: Nathan Russell and Nathanael Kuzio are very pleased to report that the school has collected $9944 in Shaw’s receipts as of 15 February 2008. This will net the Central Vermont Humane Society $99. Let’s keep up the great work! Hopefully, our school can collect enough receipts by the end of the year to earn $150 for CVHS. We are 2/3 of the way there! Have a great vacation everyone!
What do cookies, town meeting, the local food shelf and the humane society all have in common?
The Moretown Junior Girl Scouts of course!
Did you miss ordering those girl scout cookies this year, or just need a plain old cookie rush? Have no fear, the girl scout’s will be hosting cookie booth at both Pre-Town Meeting and Town Meeting.
Not interested in cookies for yourself? You can still support the troop and the local food shelf at the same time by purchasing a box or two, we’ll even handle the delivery for you.
Still not interested in cookies? Then how about helping the girls in their collection of donations for the Central Vermont Humane Society? Bring any of the following items to Pre-Town Meeting or Town Meeting: Dry cat and kitten food (no dyes), contractor trash bags(large, heavy duty), paper towels, laundry detergent, clay cat litter, dry dog food, push brooms, covered litter boxes, "Gentle Leaders", hard plastic cat toys, rubbermade storage bins, paper plates, canned kitten food, office supplies, duct tape or masking tape, bleach, postage stamps, leashes and collars.
