Dear Parents,

          We had a wonderful day yesterday exchanging Valentine’s and enjoying yummy snacks.  The children were so excited to be opening Valentine’s from their friends.  Thank you for your part in making our celebration a success! 

          Our fieldtrip to the Flynn Theater is just around the corner on Monday, March 10^th.  We will board buses around 8:00 a.m. to be certain to arrive in time for the 9:30 show.  We hope to be back at school by 11:45 that morning.  There will not be afternoon preschool on this day as all children will attend the fieldtrip.  The bus barn has kindly offered to run a mid-day bus run at 11:45 a.m. instead of 11:00 .  However they need to know how much interest there is and who would be riding.  Please e-mail me by Monday, February 18^th to let me know if your child will be riding the mid-day bus route on Monday, March 10^th.  If I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume your child won’t be riding and we can adjust the bus route accordingly. Thanks!

           I will be offering parent/teacher conference Thursday, February 21^st.  Please call the school office (496-3742) to make an appointment.  Please take a few moments before your conference to think about your child and his/her time in preschool. What is working really well for your child?  What could be better?  Do you have any successes to share?  Any concerns?
